How do I switch between Bible translations?
Tap the "Current: [Translation]" button on the home screen. This will open a list of all 5 available translations. Select your preferred version:
  • New Living Translation (NLT) - Free
  • King James Version (KJV) - Free
  • English Standard Version (ESV) - Pro
  • New International Version (NIV) - Pro
  • The Message (MSG) - Pro
How do I change the background style?
Tap the palette icon in the top right corner of the home screen. This opens the customization view where you can choose from 10+ beautiful background styles. Select any background to preview it, then tap "Done" to apply.
How do I save a wallpaper to my Photos?
  1. Tap the download icon (arrow pointing down) in the top right
  2. If this is your first time, you'll be asked to allow photo library access - tap "OK"
  3. Wait for the "Saved to Photos!" confirmation
  4. Open your Photos app → the wallpaper will be in Recent
  5. Set as wallpaper: Settings → Wallpaper → Choose your saved image
Why is my wallpaper blurry or low quality?
The app renders wallpapers at your device's native resolution for maximum quality. If your saved wallpaper appears blurry:
  • Make sure you're using the "Save Wallpaper" button in the app (not screenshots)
  • Check your iPhone's storage - low storage can affect image quality
  • Try deleting and re-saving the wallpaper
  • Contact support if the issue persists
How do I share a verse with friends?
Tap the share icon in the top right corner. This opens the iOS share sheet where you can share via:
  • Messages
  • Mail
  • Instagram, Facebook, Twitter
  • Any other sharing-enabled app
Where is my verse history?
The history feature appears after you've viewed verses on at least 2 different days. Once available, you'll see a history icon in the top right corner. Tap it to view all your previously viewed verses. You can re-save or share any past verse from the history view.
How do daily notifications work?
To enable daily verse reminders:
  1. Go to the Settings tab
  2. Toggle on "Daily Notifications"
  3. If prompted, tap "Allow" to grant notification permission
  4. You'll receive a notification at 8:00 AM daily
You can disable notifications anytime in Settings or iOS Settings → Daily Verse Wallpaper → Notifications.
What is the Pro unlock and how much does it cost?

How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Your Pro purchase is linked to your Apple ID. On your new device:
  1. Download Daily Verse Wallpaper
  2. Go to the Pro screen
  3. Tap "Restore Purchase"
  4. Your Pro access will be restored automatically
Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.
Why don't I see a verse for today?
The app currently has verses for:
  • January (all days)
  • February (all days)
  • March (all days)
  • November (all days)
  • December (all days)
If today's date is in another month, the app will show the most recent available verse. Additional months are being added in future updates!

🛠️ Troubleshooting

The app won't open or keeps crashing
Try these steps:
  1. Force quit the app: Swipe up from bottom and swipe the app up
  2. Restart your iPhone
  3. Check for iOS updates: Settings → General → Software Update
  4. If still crashing, delete and reinstall the app (your data will be backed up by iCloud if enabled)
  5. Contact support if issue persists
Translation won't switch or shows wrong text
  1. Force quit the app and reopen it
  2. Make sure you're on the latest app version (check App Store for updates)
  3. Try switching to a different translation, then back to your preferred one
  4. If issue persists, contact support with details
I purchased Pro but it's not unlocking
  1. Wait a few moments - sometimes it takes a minute to process
  2. Force quit the app and reopen
  3. Tap "Restore Purchase" on the Pro screen
  4. Make sure you're connected to the internet
  5. Restart your iPhone
  6. If still not working, contact support with your purchase receipt
Photos permission denied - how do I enable it?
  1. Open iPhone Settings
  2. Scroll down and tap Daily Verse Wallpaper
  3. Tap Photos
  4. Select "Add Photos Only" or "All Photos"
  5. Return to the app and try saving again
